Sophos Anti-Virus is pick of the pops
UBC Media Group plc, producer of the Pepsi Chart Show, chooses Sophos Anti-Virus protection
Sophos, the world's leading developer of corporate anti-virus protection, has announced that UBC Media Group plc, producer of popular entertainment programmes such as the Pepsi Chart Show, has chosen Sophos Anti-Virus to protect its computer systems against computer viruses.
"Our computer systems are used for everything from general office work to audio recording and editing," said Paul Markham, Systems Architect at Unique Interactive, UBC's IT Division. "We chose Sophos Anti-Virus for its excellent reputation and the ease with which it can be updated over a network. We were also very unhappy at the level of service we were receiving from other anti-virus software developers and were attracted by Sophos's commitment to providing round the clock support 365 days a year."
Staff at UBC use PCs to run office applications, record and edit audio and video, for internet distribution, media delivery and as web servers. Sophos Anti-Virus will protect the computer systems at the group's two sites, located in London.
