Howe to join the global fight against computer viruses
Sophos appoints Malcolm Howe as Head of Global IT
Sophos, a world leader in corporate anti-virus protection, today announced the appointment of Dr Malcolm Howe to the position of Head of Global IT. Howe, who most recently worked at Nominet, the UK Internet domain name registrar, has 10 years of experience in the IT arena.
As Global Head of IT, one of Howe's principal tasks will be to establish best practice IT standards throughout the company. Howe will be responsible for establishing a sound global infrastructure and will ensure that all Sophos sites attain equally high levels of security, service, reliability and efficiency.

Sophos has offices throughout the world, including the USA, Australia, Japan, France and Germany. The company also plans to build an additional high-security research and development centre alongside its existing headquarters in Abingdon, UK.
