Sophos joined by five of its OEM partners at RSA Conference

Lynnfield, MA - Sophos, a world leader in corporate anti-virus solutions, today announced that it will be joined in demonstrations by five of its OEM partners at RSA 2002, the largest security exhibition in the world, being held at the McEnery Convention Center in San Jose California, February 19-21.

Sophos will be joined by Big Fish Communications, a provider of email protection services, CipherTrust, developer of IronMail, the first security appliance for corporate email systems, Elron, a leading internet content management developer, eSoft, a provider of enhanced broadband solutions for small to medium enterprises and Mirapoint, a leading provider of Internet messaging infrastructure products.

Richard Baldry, Sophos's product manager for SAVI (Sophos Anti-Virus Interface), Sophos's acclaimed anti-virus API, will make three, interactive presentations each day of the conference detailing how computer viruses are spread, the damage they cause, virus hype and the importance of safe computing. Additionally, Sophos's powerful virus detection software will be demonstrated at booth #924. Each of Sophos's partners will have a demonstration workstation and will present to attendees.

This year's RSA conference will host over 200 exhibitors and over 10,000 decision-makers attendees from business, government, academia, and Wall Street. The RSA Conference delivers keynote presentations from industry leaders and national policy makers and offers more than 200 individual "breakout" sessions on topics ranging from the latest in enterprise security to the most current implementations of secure electronic commerce.

"In today's business world, it is imperative that organizations enforce policies that aim to avoid virus infection and to implement a reliable anti-virus solution to protect its networks," said David Hughes, president of Sophos, Inc. "At Sophos, we provide reliable virus protection to clients with our powerful virus scanning engine and through our open API, SAVI, we are able to provide the same level of protection to our partners' clients. We are pleased to be joined by our strategic partners at RSA 2002."
