Sophos MailMonitor for Exchange 2000 receives ICSA certification

ICSA Labs

Sophos, a world leader in corporate anti-virus protection, announced today that its gateway solution for Microsoft Exchange 2000 has been awarded ICSA accreditation.

MailMonitor for Exchange 2000 was tested against all known in-the-wild viruses - and detected them all effortlessly. This provides further verification of Sophos's ability to protect corporations from the viruses, worms and Trojans that threaten their systems.

"Certification from independent testing bodies such as the ICSA is becoming increasingly important to customers," said David Mitchell, product manager at Sophos. "We're delighted that Sophos's ability to defend its customers against virus attack has been proved once again."

The International Computer Security Association is an independent reviewing body only awarding certification to those products able to perform outstandingly under test conditions.
