Sophos MailMonitor for SMTP and for Notes/Domino receive ICSA certification

ICSA Labs

Sophos, a world leader in corporate anti-virus protection, announced today that its gateway solutions for SMTP (Windows and Linux) and for Notes/Domino have been awarded ICSA accreditation.

Both MailMonitor for SMTP (Windows and Linux) and MailMonitor for Notes/Domino were tested against all known in-the-wild viruses and detected them all with ease. This provides further confirmation of Sophos's ability to protect corporations from the viruses, worms and Trojans that threaten their systems.

"Certification from independent testing bodies such as the ICSA remains important to customers," said David Mitchell, product manager at Sophos. "Sophos MailMonitor for Exchange 2000 received certification from the ICSA earlier this year. We are delighted that our latest MailMonitor products have also received certification, once again proving Sophos's ability to defend its customers against virus attacks."

The International Computer Security Association is an independent reviewing body only awarding certification to those products able to perform outstandingly under test conditions.
