Sophos raises awareness of security threats at Gitex in Dubai 18 – 22 November 2006, stand U9-3, Sheikh Rashid Hall, Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre, Dubai

Sophos, a world leader in IT security, will be showcasing a range of products new to the Middle East region at the forthcoming Gitex event, held in Dubai later this month. Sophos can be found at stand U9-3 with local partner SAF Information Systems.
Gitex is an important international IT exhibition, and the show is considered by many to be the main gateway to the Middle East market. Sophos will exhibit a range of its products including Application Control and HIPS, and unveil its new Web security appliance, WS1000. The show provides Sophos an opportunity to present the most recently published threat management report, and discuss the current IT security environment.
“The spread of malware poses a significant challenge to businesses that aren’t fully aware of the threats,” said Nimmity Zappert, Head of International Sales at Sophos. “We will be demonstrating our full range of security solutions in order to educate users on how to keep their computers and networks safe.”
Nimmity Zappert and her team of experts will be at the event offering advice and information about computer security and giving presentations about the latest malware threats.
The 26th Gitex event will take place 18-22 November 2006 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre, Dubai.
