Sophos expert to present at AusCERT Conference 2007

Sophos, a world leader in IT security and control, today announced that it will be participating in the AusCERT Conference in Queensland, Australia, 21-25 May 2007.

AusCERT Conference 2007 is probably Australia's biggest computer security conference, and provides a forum for industry researchers and corporations to discuss the most significant threats facing computer users.

Paul Ducklin, Head of Technology Asia Pacific, will be presenting a paper on Monday 21 May entitled "Exploits, rootkits, bootkits, fruitkits!". Paul's presentation looks at some of the latest techniques used in malware attacks - in the form of a live demonstration with commentary.

The AusCERT Conference will take place 21-25 May 2007 at Royal Pines Resort, Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia.

In Australia, the AusCERT conference has proven to be the premier IT security event for IT security professionals and anyone with an interest in IT security. This is the sixth year we have been running this conference and interest in the conference from delegates, speakers and sponsors has grown accordingly.
