Aberdeen Group aims to dispel confusion about Network Access Control Receive free Aberdeen Group reports worth $800
IT administrators can enforce policies over unsecured computers accessing their network with NAC.
Aberdeen Group, the leading provider of fact-based research focused on the global technology-driven value chain, is offering two complimentary research reports to businesses who complete its online survey into Network Access Control (NAC).
The survey, which takes approximately 10-15 minutes to complete, has been designed to allow businesses to benchmark its NAC practices against peers and best-in-class organizations.
Aberdeen Group says it will provide participants with complimentary copies of two research reports (worth $800). One of the reports will be the published findings from the NAC study (expected to be available at the end of October 2007). After completing the survey, companies will also receive an email from Aberdeen Group containing a complimentary copy of their recently published research report, "The Ins and Outs of Email Vulnerability".
"It's clear that there is much confusion in the marketplace regarding Network Access Control, so it's great to see Aberdeen Group conduct a survey to determine best practices and increase companies' understanding of how NAC enables you to control who and what is allowed onto your network," said Graham Cluley, senior technology consultant for Sophos. "More and more companies are using NAC to block unauthorized users, control guest access, and ensure compliance with their security policies, but there are still many firms who have not discovered that NAC does not mean turning your existing infrastructure upside down."
