You can upgrade to version 8, as part of your existing license and at no additional cost.
Upgrade to get:
- the ability to assess and control all managed and unmanaged computers
- device control functionality, enabling you to control the use of removable storage devices
What to do:
Upgrade Enterprise Console
Install Sophos NAC Manager, so you can deploy the NAC agent to each managed computer
Note: No upgrade is needed for Sophos Anti-Virus for Windows 2000 and later, which is still version 7.

You can purchase an upgrade to Endpoint Security and Control.
Upgrade to get:
- the ability to assess and control all managed and unmanaged computers
- device control functionality, enabling you to control the use of removable storage devices

Upgrading is optional
Upgrading to Endpoint Security and Control 8 is optional. Current customers can continue to use Enterprise Console 3.0.
